Remington College isseeking an exceptional IT lead instructor!

If you’re a dedicated, enthusiastic, experienced informationtechnology/computing professional, preferably with teaching experience, whobelieves in the power of sharing your knowledge, motivating others, and puttingstudents first, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for a talented Computer and Network Administration lead instructorto join the academic team at our Little Rock Campus. This individual willreport to the Campus President.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Helping to develop the curriculum for your department.

  • Assisting in the recruitment, orientation, and training of faculty.

  • Preparing lesson plans using industry-standard education approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).

  • Teaching courses as assigned, instructing and evaluating students, developing students’ skills and encouraging growth, and tracking their attendance, performance, and grades.

  • Participating in various administrative activities (e.g., attending faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings), graduation ceremonies, and continuing professional development activities.

  • Observing and evaluating students' work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement.

  • Administering tests to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness.

  • Supervising and monitoring students' use of tools and equipment.

  • Supervising, coordinating, and directing the work of employees in your academic program.

  • Providing assistance and support to the Director of Education in implementing academic program objectives to help ensure positive outcomes.

Job Requirements


  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience and credentials will be assessed accordingly.

  • At least five (5) years of practical work experience in a networking environment installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting LANs, WANs, Internet systems, and wireless configurations using a diversity of network operating systems.

  • Familiarity with fundamental security best practices and Microsoft Active Directory principles a plus.

  • Professional certifications as relevant to the field. Microsoft certifications preferred.

  • Some teaching and leadership experience.
