Job Description

Remington College is seeking an exceptionaladmissions representative!

If you’re a highly motivated,goal-oriented professional with experience in public relations, sales, or customerservice, and you have a desire to help others succeed, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a talentedadmissions representative to join our Honolulu Campus. This individualwill work with prospective students interested in enrolling in our accrediteddegree and diploma programs. The position may require some evenings andweekends. This individual will report to the Campus Director of Admissions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

•        Contacts and interviewsprospective students and assists those desiring admission through theadmissions process.
  • Successfully completes all admissions-related training programs, and displays thorough knowledge of all admissions-related training materials, policies, and procedures, as well as admissions-related documents including, but not limited to, the Application and Enrollment Agreement and the Campus Catalog.

  • Contacts prospective students (leads) and provides accurate and complete information about the Campus and the programs of education offered by the Campus.

  • Provides complete and accurate responses to questions from prospective and enrolling students, except that he or she does not engage in detailed discussions about financial aid programs.

  • Sets appointments and conducts interviews with prospective students.

  • Conducts Campus tours for prospective students.

  • Assists applicants in completing application and enrollment paperwork, and executes such paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Represents the Campus at job fairs and college fairs or other offsite locations as permitted by applicable regulations and as assigned by the Director of Admissions or the Assistant Director of Admissions.

  • Provides prospective students with only approved advertising and program or employment-related materials.

  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Needed:

  • A bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Four (4) or more years of continuous experience in a relevant position can substitute for the educational requirement.

  • Appropriate experience in a sales, customer service, or management position.

  • Registration or licensure may be required pursuant to applicable state regulations and/or standards of accreditation.

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and related software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)/Internet savvy.

  • Superior language ability/interpersonal communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service/sales skills.

  • Solid logic/reasoning ability and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to work some evenings and/or weekends.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Extensive phone work involved.

  • Flexibility and a high level of integrity are mandatory.
